THE BACARDÍ STORY
From a family dream in 1800’s
Cuba, to celebrating the moments that
matter today to our global community…
Introduce refreshing BACARDÍ Carta Blanca white rum to the cool, crispness of freshly squeezed lime and mint on ice. You've just created an Original BACARDÍ Mojito - the perfect rum cocktail for sundown and other magical moments.
Back in the 16th century, the Draque cocktail was created, combining aguardiente (a crude precursor to rum) with lime, sugar and mint. This concoction is said to be the earliest version of the Mojito.
In 1862, BACARDÍ founder Don Facundo Bacardi began producing rum. The Draque recipe was altered to replace aguardiente with something more palatable, and BACARDÍ rum was used. The Mojito, as we know it, was born.
Mojitos come in all shapes and sizes. A combination of raspberries, mint, and BACARDÍ Raspberry, this one lends a berry kick to the traditional mojito.
As refreshing and crowd-pleasing as a classic mojito. Just a little lighter. Enjoy the perfect blend of BACARDÍ Superior, fresh lime and mint—without sugar.
Real mojitos are made with BACARDÍ. Press some mint and lime, then throw in BACARDÍ Carta Blanca Rum and club soda for a refreshing Cuban classic.
