SOLAR PANELS
We want to lead the push towards cleaner energy, so we’re exploring solar panels to power our operations and provide electricity to our local community.
COMBINED HEAT & POWER
Our CHP project (Combined Heat and Power) allows us to be self-reliant. This ensures a sustainable and efficient future for our operations.
BIOGAS
Our innovative wastewater treatment system generates biogas which powers our distillation process, and also creates over 60% of our distillery’s energy.
RECAPTURED CONDENSATE
We’ve recaptured 95% of the condensate generated during distillation, reducing the energy needed in our process to maximise efficiency while minimising waste.
CO2 FERMENTATION
We’re working to capture CO2 from our fermentation process to supply the sparkling drinks industry, adding effervescent sustainability to every sip.

THE CHP PROJECT
Something super exciting we’ve been working on behind the scenes is our CHP project. Meaning ‘Combined Heat and Power,’ this initiative helps us to be self-reliant and completely change the way we operate. This change ensures a sustainable and efficient future for our operations.

HALVING EMISSIONS
This year we will slice our greenhouse gas emissions in half thanks to great innovations like our new CHP system, biogas generation, and CO2 capture. As our distillery in Puerto Rico works towards a greener tomorrow, our goal is to generate 100% of the energy we use. Stay tuned as we progress on our journey!
